MONTHLY JOURNEY TO FINANCIAL FREEDOM: 59th

The last month of 2022 was quite volatile in the domestic market, as the newly elected government demonstrated that it will not have a strong fiscal commitment, which provided me with excellent opportunities to buy assets.

I bought:

- 1200 AESB3 at BRL 9.28 each: BRL 11,132.00 total

- 2,200 ITSA4 at BRL 8.21 each: total of BRL 18,054.00

- 600 GRND3 at BRL 5.98: total of BRL 3,588.00

- 600 SAPR11 at BRL 16.88: total of BRL 10,130.00

As for GRND3's shares, I need to make a caveat. Despite having written that I have been trying to get rid of my position, the stock was very cheap, so I made this purchase with the intention of selling it at a profit later on. In other words, it became an action of opportunity.

But it wasn't just here in Brazil that the market gave me some opportunities, in the United States I also took the opportunity to go shopping.

I bought:

- 2 XHR at $12.81: $25.62 total

- 10 BHR at $3.57: $35.70 total

- 5 PK at $11.63: $58.15 total

- 5 DIS at $87.73: $438.67 total

- 3 MMM at $119.84: $359.53 total

And I sold:

- 1 VOO at $345.32: $345.32 total

- 17 URA at $19.93: $338.73 total

- 8 URNM at $31.34: $250.72 total

With these sales, I liquidated my position in these assets. I decided to make cash to take advantage of possible declines in other assets, mainly MMM, as I want to remain faithful to the pension portfolio strategy.

Now, I have 21 assets, but I'm thinking of reducing even more, which I'll talk about in the next post.

After purchases totaling BRL 47,701.64 and sales of BRL 4,866.20, I ended the month down by -3.04%, while the index I use as a benchmark closed at -1.61% (IDIV), while the Brazilian stock market index closed at -2.45% (IBOV).

In the last month of the year, I received BRL 9,264.08 in earnings: BRL 2,523.44 from TAEE11, BRL 3,999.68 from AESB3, BRL 1,101.52 from ABEV3, BRL 1,401.72 from FLRY3, BRL 72 .25 from MDIA3, BRL 6.20 from VOO, BRL 43.15 from VNQ and BRL 116.10 for MMM.
